Educator Access to Services in the Electronic Landscape
The EASEL has the objective of analyzing the existing standards in the field of Metadata for didactical components (Learning Objects Metadata). Prototypical learning material, organized and stored in a XML-based data base, will be produced and demonstratively delivered.
The construction of tested interactive assessment modules is a costly process and thus collaborative resource sharing and outsourcing this activity can reduce costs to the educational institution, while also ensuring greater comparability between assessments being set across institutions.
